First Videos: Memory Ride and the Harley

I got a Flip video recorder, and it’s so cool! I had the perfect opportunity to test it this weekend. I was helping sell tickets for a chance to win a new Harley as a fundraiser for Family Guidance and Outreach Center. So let’s see how they work.

The first video is of Ami Hill-Rendon talking about the Memory Ride and Candlelight Vigil, which on April 5 will honor children who’ve died because of child abuse. Click here to see it.

The second video is of the Harley – the grand prize that will be given  away during the April 25 Blue Ribbon Rally. Click here to see it. (You can buy $30 tickets here.)

I’m sure there is a MUCH better, prettier way to do this. I just haven’t gotten my instructions yet and am too impatient to wait. So think of these two videos as the test drives. More to come!

When Ami and the other volunteer, Jodi, saw the Flip, they immediately decided to see if they could get one donated as a prize for Blue Ribbon Rally. Within two hours, Ami had checked them out at Best Buy ($130) and convinced the store to donate one to the cause!
